Lokomotiv Moscow defender Alexander Silyanov has addressed the growing speculation about head coach Mikhail Galaktionov’s future. Recent reports indicate that the railway club’s manager is attracting interest from another Moscow team, PFC CSKA. The Army Men recently parted ways with Fabio Celestini and are rumored to be eyeing Galaktionov for their bench.
“I won’t comment on the rumors linking Galaktionov to CSKA, but I definitely want him to stay. I believe everyone feels the same—we’ve been working together for a long time now,” Silyanov shared with Championat correspondent Vladimir Chetverik.
In the current season, Lokomotiv occupies third place in the Mir Russian Premier League, just one match day before the campaign concludes.
